Traveling to the Laboratory

By plane and train
Thirty-five minutes from New Chitose International Airport (Sapporo) to Sapporo Station (Japan Railway).

By car
Fifteen minutes from the “Sapporo Kita” exit off the highway.

On Campus
The institute is located near the northern end of the Sapporo campus (see map above). It is approximately a 15-minute walk from Kita-18-Jo Station on the subway, or about a 25-minute walk from Sapporo Station on the Japan Railway (JR) line.
The laboratory is situated in the west wing on the first (ground) floor.

The Tanaka Lab is within the Institute of Low Temperature Science.
